  • Infection-associated chronic conditions include ME/CFS, Long COVID, dysautonomia, and more.

Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) is a debilitating long-term illness characterized by profound fatigue, even after resting, a variety of systemic symptoms, and a decline in activities that were previously possible.

Long COVID is a syndrome characterized by the persistence or development of symptoms attributed to Covid-19 (typically including extreme fatigue, breathlessness, and muscle weakness) more than twelve weeks after initial infection.

Dysautonomia is an umbrella term used to describe several different medical conditions that cause a malfunction of the Autonomic Nervous System. The Autonomic Nervous System controls the "automatic" functions of the body that we do not consciously think about, such as heart rate, blood pressure, digestion, kidney function, and temperature control. People living with various forms of dysautonomia have trouble regulating these systems, which can result in lightheadedness, fainting, unstable blood pressure, abnormal heart rates, malnutrition, and in severe cases, death. • 1 in 100 young people will develop dysautonomia.

    • More than 100 MILLION people worldwide are living with an infection associated chronic condition.

    • The average patient waits 6 years to be diagnosed with an autonomic disorder
